We are the group from George Dixon Academy. We were also the Steering Group for the "One Area Through Time" project.

 

We decided to research some of our own family histories and heritage. We looked at different topics including food, music, dress, and language. We brought in some objects to help us tell the stories.

 

Then, we made a film. We had some training in a technique called "Digital Storytelling." You can see our films here. We hope you enjoy them!
